Hello babes! I’m sorry I haven’t posted for a while. School has been in full swing for me as finals fast approach yikes! But I did find time to make it to Disneyland this weekend to take pictures for a photography assignment. With so many people on Spring Break, the parks have been pretty busy, but we still managed to get on some rides 🙂
AND GUYS! Elle Fanning was at the park that day promoting her new movie “Maleficent”! We saw her from afar and waited until she was done filming to sneak in a picture with her. And wowzers she is TALL!

The Dapper Dans paraded up and down Main Street so we made sure to get a picture with them too! They were super nice and even picked a super snazzy pose haha

We also got a chance to ride Big Thunder which just re-opened after more than a year of refurbishments! I thought the ride would be different since it closed for so long, but only minor changes were made. The tracks create a smoother ride and they added some awesome special effects toward the end. I won’t spoil the surprise, but I highly recommend checking it out 🙂
I wasn’t surprised so many rides were closed for refurbishments when we went, but I was slightly irritated my favorite ride Indiana Jones was closed…AGAIN!! After closing down for almost a year, it’s once again fenced off with a sign reading it will be back for Spring 2014. Hello Disney, it’s spring NOW. Oh well 🙁
With summer just around the corner, the parks will soon be packed with tourists, vacationers, students on break and just about everyone. If you plan on visiting soon, I would aim for between the very end of April to mid/late May before summer breaks start for a lot of people. Take advantage of the Fast Passes and plan out your rides because the lines will get crazy.
Here are some of the pictures we got during our Disney day last weekend. I’ll update you guys with some more once my project is completely finished 🙂
Until then, I’ll leave you with my favorite picture of the day. I think it really captures the magic of the so-called “Happiest Place on Earth” haha
Love these photos! 🙂
