It’s been too long since my last Friday Favorites, which made me sad so I decided it was time for another! And I’ve got to say – this is probably the best one yet. But don’t just take my word for it 😉 Check out all of this week’s favorites below!
Warby Parker sunglasses – You can never have too many sunglasses! Lucky for us, Warby Parker’s new Summer Collection and their Karlie Kloss Collaboration came just in time for summer! Starting at just $95, Warby Parker offers men and women styles in both sunglasses AND eyeglasses. Better yet – for every pair of eyewear that’s purchased, the company distributes a pair to someone in need. If you don’t have time to make it down to a retailer, Warby Parker also offers a home try-on service. Just pick out 5 frames and they’ll ship them to you free. Plus you get to try them out for 5 whole days! Shown above and my personal favorites from the collections: from Summer Collection, CLIFF in Striped Olive & from Karlie Kloss Collab, JULIA in Heirloom Silver.
Steve Madden booties – With fall right around the corner, I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect pair of booties; and I found them guys! This leather pair from Steve Madden comes in three shades: Wine, Black and Taupe. With zipper closings on both sides, it guarantees a perfect fit and works great for any outfit! And the 1.5 inch heel won’t have you stumbling around with sore feet all day and night.
MAC lipstick – Summer is the perfect time to try out all those bright shades that you would normally stray from. This lipstick from MAC has a ‘Cremesheen’ finish so it won’t dry your lips out throughout the day. My personal favorite shade at the moment is “Lickable” because it’s the perfect medium between pink and plum. Another plus: in my personal experience, the color lasts 5 whole hours before I have to reapply!
Tarte Cheeck Stain – I’ve always preferred bronzer over blush, so when I first tried this cheek stain from Tarte, I was a little hesitant at first. But it did not disappoint! This is one of their best-selling, award-winning products and gives your cheeks the perfect glow without overdoing it. Because of its creamy consistency, it gives you a whole 20 seconds to blend in before it sets. Efficient AND affordable!
SaboSkirt dress – When I stumbled upon the online retailer site Saboskirt two years ago, I immediately fell in love. Everything on their website is adorable and also within my price range. This hot pink twist dress is under $60 and makes for the perfect summer outfit! Its open back, elastic waistband and partial lining also makes it perfect for those hot days when you just want to wear something breezy. Tip: be sure to check their sizing charts since everything is done online and you can’t try-on!
Chevron rings – I’ve been on the lookout for some cute chevron rings for months now. I’ve seen them everywhere; I just couldn’t justify spending more than $10 on a silly ring. (I’m a broke college student haha) Then I found this pair of gold chevron rings at Brandy Melville and was SO excited! Two for $6 was definitely a bargain so I was sold on the spot. Tip: if you’re buying anything that costs less than $100, I would just buy it in store so you don’t have to pay their ridiculous shipping charges!
